President Kea-Carrol earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology with a Minor in Chemistry from Union University, a Master of Arts in Counseling from Trevecca University, an Education Specialist Degree from Middle Tennessee State University and a Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership from East Tennessee State University. Dr. Kea-Carroll also graduated from the Tennessee College of Applied Technology Leadership Program. She has been with TCAT Hohenwald since 1994, when she supervised the practical nursing and surgical technology programs and served as the college's program coordinator. In 2002, she was named assistant director for the college and served in that role until 2014, when she was selected as president. Dr. Kea-Carroll actively contributes to her community as a member of the Maury Regional Medical Center Foundation Committee, a board member on the Wayne County Joint Economic Development Community Chamber, a member of the Lewis County Chamber of Commerce, Maury Alliance, Lawrence Select and Perry and Hickman County, and as a Technical Advisor Council Member for the Lewis County High School, Lewis County Middle School, Lawrence County Schools and others. She also serves as a Council on Occupational Education Chief Executive Accreditation Officer, Institutional Liaison and Visiting Team Member; the statewide curriculum program coordinator for Cosmetology, Manicuring and Cosmetology Instructor programs; and a member of the American Technical Education Association.
